Roc Colom (2,507 m) — Eastern Pyrenees (between Catalonia and France)

A guided circular mountain route into one of the quietest corners of the Eastern Pyrenees. Remote valleys, crystal-clear streams and open ridgelines lead to Roc Colom (2,507 m), the first summit above 2,500 metres when approaching the range from the Mediterranean, a gateway between Catalonia and France within the protected landscapes of the Mantet Nature Reserve.

Requirements

- Moderate fitness (regular hikers)

- Mandatory kit: appropriate clothing, water, food, sun protection and a waterproof layer. Hiking shoes or mountain footwear with good grip. Trail running shoes, sneakers and casual footwear are not allowed.
